Steps for Registration with Manyata

STEP 01

On your web browser, go to the website – www.manyataformothers.org

STEP 02

In the upper right corner of the home page, select the “Get Registered” tab which is highlighted in pink.

STEP 03

You will be redirected to a Login page. From the upper right corner, click the “Sign Up” option and you will get a page where you have to fill in four basic details: a) Hospital Name b) Name of in-charge/owner c) Lead OBG and d) Email ID. These are all mandatory fields. Once you have filled it in, please click “Proceed”.

STEP 04

In the next screen, you have to answer whether your facility is registered with FOGSI or no. Please note that if your facility is not registered with FOGSI, you will not be able to proceed beyond this point. After selecting Yes, you will have to select your state and then select your society from the dropdown.

STEP 05

In the next screen you will have to select the option as per your registration with the district health authority. Please note that if your facility is not registered with DHA, you will not be able to proceed beyond this point.

STEP 06

The next screen will ask you to provide the address details of your facility and the state will be prefilled as per the submission in FOGSI screen, once you complete this step, click “Proceed”.

STEP 07

Next, fill in your primary contact details (mobile and landline). Once completed, click “Proceed”.

STEP 08

In the next screen, select the Type of Hospital your facility is – a) Maternity Hospital b) Multi Specialty Hospital or c) Other. Click “Proceed”.

STEP 09

Select the number of sanctioned beds in your hospitals. Click “Proceed”.

STEP 10

Here you are required to create your password and the instructions for the same has been mentioned below the password box. Once created, click on “Register”.

STEP 11

Once you click “Register”, you will be redirected to a Letter of Intent, which contains terms and conditions. Please read these carefully, check the box if you agree, click on “Proceed”.

STEP 12

Next, the page will display the amount you have to pay based on the number of beds in your facility. For 20 beds or less, you payment is Rs 20,000 with certification and Rs 10,000 without certification. For hospitals with more than 20 beds, your payment is Rs 30,000 with certification and Rs 10,000 without certification. You can select your preference (with or without certification) on this page. You can also select whether you would like to do an online or offline payment, and click "Proceed".

STEP 13

If you click online payment, you will be redirected to a payment page where you can make the required payment via credit/debit card, net banking, mobile payments, etc

STEP 14

If you click offline payment, your online registration process ends here. For next steps, you can pay via NEFT, or send a cheque addressed to “FOGSI MANYATA” on the following address: National Programme Unit (NPMU), Trade World, 109, 1st Floor, C-Wing, Kamala City, Senapati Bapat Marg, Lower Parel (W), Mumbai 400013.

Track your quality journey through the Manyata digital platform

One of the key features of Manyata has been to transition from paper-based models to digitised processes, with the Digital Platform at the centre of this transition. Available on the website itself (click here), private maternity providers can directly register themselves to be part of the Manyata in an entirely online process, by simply filling in some basic details and making the required payment. As a facility, here are some benefits of using the platform:

  • It digitises the various processes involved in the Manyata quality care journey and eliminates the need for any physical paperwork.
  • The sign-up process is fast, efficient, and only requires minimal details about the facility. For your convenience, we have attached below a step-by-step guide to register online for Manyata through this portal.
  • For payment, you can choose to either pay online at the end of the sign-up process, or you can choose to send a cheque to the FOGSI-NPMU office.
  • The digital portal is user-friendly and it acts as a one-stop shop for all things Manyata: registration, self-assessment and validation, training, mentoring, assessment, certification, and analytics. This means that you can easily track your facility’s quality care journey.
  • You will have access to a dashboard that will display your entire journey with Manyata. This includes various components such as gap assessment of your facility, status of your QI trainings, and number of Mentoring Support Visits (MSVs), amongst others.
  • You can conveniently make requests for additional Mentoring Support Visits and External Assessment (which would need to be purchased) via the portal.
  • You can also use to the portal to stay updated on the latest developments within the initiative.
  • Once your facility is certified, you can use this portal to seamlessly map your monthly progress in improving and maintaining quality of care, by way of Monthly Progress Reports (MPRs). You can also choose to have internal assessments and have it reviewed by the team.
