Dr. Shantha Kumari Sekaran is a senior gynecologist and laparoscopic surgeon. She studied her MBBS in Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad. She was bestowed with the Fellowship of the Royal College of physicians of Ireland (FRCPI) and also awarded the very prestigious Fellowship of the Royal college of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (RCOG) of London-Fellow Honoris Causa in recognition of the services she rendered to the cause of women worldwide in March 2018 at the RCOG Congress.
Dr. Shantha initiated DHEERA – A socio-medical campaign to eliminate violence against women in 2016, she was a part of the FIGO working group on “Violence Against Women” (VAW) (2018-21), Secretary and Chairperson of the prestigious ICOG (2015-17), Vice President FOGSI (2013), IAEG Committee Member (2012-18), FOGSI Chairperson MNNRRC Committee (2008-10).
She has been bestowed numerous awards and accolades, to name a few – OGSH Lifetime Achievement award, 2020; Dr. Ganatra Charitable Medical Center Award, 2021; Pride of FOGSI Award 2019; FOGSI Star Award 2017; Young Scientist Award at National IAHR 1997. Dr. Suvarna Khadilkar is the Professor and Head of Dept. OB-GYN, and Consultant Gyne-Endocrinologist, Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences and Medical Research Center, Mumbai. She has been an undergraduate and postgraduate teacher and examiner Mumbai University and Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. Pursuing her interest in endocrinology, she acquired Diploma in Endocrinology from prestigious University of South Wales, UK, and has been appointed as recognized teacher in endocrinology in University of South Wales. She has held many prestigious positions like Treasurer of FOGSI from 2018-21, Secretary at MOGS in 2020, Chairperson of Reproductive Endocrinology Committee of FOGSI 2011–2013, President, Association of Medical Women in India, Mumbai, Vice President and President elect (2017) Indian menopause society. She is an active executive member of Mumbai OB-GYN Society.
She has published more than 100 articles at national and international levels and has been an editor of 12 books. She is recipient of more than 25 awards for her research work including Young Scientist Award. She has delivered many orations, keynote addresses and invited lectures on national and international platforms.
Dr Tank is a practicing obstetrician and gynaecologist working at the Ashwini Maternity and Surgical Hospital, Centre for Endoscopy and Assisted Reproduction, Mumbai for 17 years. He also consults at Jupiter Hospital Thane, is Honorary Professor of Assisted Reproduction at Pacific Medical College and Hospital, Udaipur and is a visiting consultant for IVF at 15 other centres across India. He has served as Honorary Clinical Associate at the Nowrosjee Wadia Maternity Hospital, of which he is also an alumnus. Dr Tank is a managing committee member of the Mumbai Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society. He is currently the Treasurer, FOGSI (2021-2024) and has worked in the organization as a Committee Chairperson (Safe Motherhood Committee), Joint Secretary and Joint Treasurer. He works with a number of other organizations working in the field of women’s health and development including the FPAI and USAID. He has authored an international textbook and published over 100 articles and chapters in Journals and textbooks.
Dr. Hema Divakar is the National Convener of Manyata program. She is a leading medical professional with a vision to improve the healthcare services ecosystem for the welfare of women. She runs the Divakar’s specialty hospital in Bangalore. Over the last three decades, she has been a game changer in healthcare, establishing new benchmarks and standards for women’s healthcare. Has pioneered innovative research translating it to reality and influencing policy changes at the national level.
Dr. Hema has keen interest in High Risk Pregnancy care and has established specialty clinics for recurrent pregnancy loss, fetal medicine and diabetic obstetrics. She is a technical expert with the Institute of Public Health, a Government of India initiative, she was the President of Karnataka Societies of OB-GYN in the year 2010 and President of BSOG in 2000. She is an Honorary Fellow of the Sri Lankan Perinatology Society. She has been honored with the Global Asian of the Year 2018-19.
Dr. Hrishikesh Pai is one of the best IVF doctors in India. He has vast experience of 35+ years with thousands of cases performed in the fields of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Infertility. His area of interest is Infertility, Endoscopy, IVF, ICSI, Egg freezing & Genetics. He is the Founder and Director of the Bloom IVF Group which has eight IVF centers all over India. He is the President Elect for FOGSI and Director, Corporate Affairs, IFFS International Federation of Fertility Societies.
Along with his practice he is also an adjunct Asst. Professor at Eastern Virginia Medical School, USA, Post Graduate Teacher in Gynecology at DNB Examinations, India and a visiting Professor in Obstetrics & Gynecology, Manipal University, India. He has delivered many orations and invited as Faculty across the world, acted as editor for numerous books and journals, written more than 50 chapters and has numerous research publications to his credit. He has been awarded with the esteemed Fellowship ad eundem of the RCOG (Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, London UK). Dr. Hrishikesh Pai is a Gold Medalist in MD from Seth G S Medical College & K E M Hospital, University of Mumbai. He went on to complete his one-year Clinical Fellowship in Reproductive Biology from the Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne, Australia in 1989.
Dr. Purandare has two decades of clinical experience in the field of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Family Planning. He was awarded the Dr. R.D. Pandit Memorial Prize by FOGSI for the thesis on “Cervical Cerclage: Its Role in Cervical Incompetence”. He trained in Gasless Laparoscopy and Laparoscopic Adhesiolysis under the Fellowship in Gynaecological Endoscopy at International School of Gasless Endoscopy/Endogyn Foundation, Germany in 2005. He has been training undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Family Planning for the last 15 years. Dr. Purandare was honoured with Dr. Ganatra Charitable Medical Centre Award in 2017 by MOGS for his contribution towards improving women’s health. Dr. Purandare has held several prestigious positions such as the Honorary Secretary of Association of Maharashtra Obst. & Gyn. Societies (AMOGS) 2014-2016 and Chairperson, Food Drugs Medical and Surgical Equipment Committee, FOGSI 2015-2017.

She is a Maternal Health Advisor with a US based International organization, Jiv Daya Foundation and provide strategies to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality in public sector through interventions in 50 medical colleges all over India.
Dr Naziya is a medical graduate and public health professional, with over 5 years of experience in the field of Hospital administration and Public health. Prior to FOGSI, she worked with the Karnataka Health Promotion Trust, Bangalore.

Dr Pallavi is a public health professional with over 4 years of experience in the field of reproductive health in both private and government sector. She has experience of working with NHM Gujarat in RCH program and IIT Bombay for project on cervical cancer. Dr. Sanjay Gupte has been in clinical practice for last 30 years and has been identified as a senior icon and the penultimate idol by practitioners in the profession. An excellent clinician, he is known for his compassion and has always lived by the principle ‘Patients First’. He has dedicated his life to patient care, evolution of quality standards and ethical practice. Being dogmatic about standards of clinical practice within the framework of ethics, he acquired a degree in legal science and is now a renowned national consultant in medico-legal issues in medical practice. He has been offering medico-legal consultations pro-bono 24X7 for the past 10 years. He is a well-known national and international academician with many publications to his credit. Dr. Nandita Palshetkar is one of the pioneers in infertility and Assistive Reproductive Technologies in India and has been instrumental in helping over 25,000 aspiring parents to have a baby of their own. Dr. Rishma Pai has launched the YES- Youth Education and Service program, which has offered health checkup and awareness to over 25000 school children and sensitized 6000 teachers. She is Adjunct visiting professor at Kasturba Medial College Manipal and has also initiated the NARI Swastya camp, which conducted health checkup in more than 100 cities in India and have conducted health checkups in more than 25000 women.
Dr Kinjawadekar completed her MMBS from Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur and further got her MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur. She has 26 years of experience in the field and practices at Kamlesh Mother and Child Hospital in Nerul, Navi Mumbai. She is currently a secretary at the NMOGS Society.
Dr. Jaideep Malhotra is the current President of ISAR society and former President of FOGSI. She practices at Global Rainbow Healthcare in Sikandra, Agra. Dr. Narendra Malhotra completed his MBBS and MD (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) from AMU, Aligarh. He was motivated to move ahead in this field because of his passion for work and care for patients. In 1987 he started doing laparoscopy at Malhotra Nursing and Maternity Home and in 1990 an IUI clinic was set up. The Malhotra Test Tube Baby Centre came into existence in 1997. Since the scope for further expansion at the location was limited therefore they built a whole new multi-specialty set up and Rainbow Hospital started operation in 2013.
